What Adkeen collects, why it collects it, how long it is kept, and what you can ask us to do with it.

01
Who we are
Adkeen (“Adkeen”, “we”, “us”) operates adkeen.space, an intelligence platform for marketing technology practitioners in Asia Pacific. Adkeen is operated from Singapore. For any privacy matter, contact adkeenspace@gmail.com.
02
Data we collect
Account data. Email address, password (stored only as a salted hash by our authentication provider), display name, the country you select at signup, and an automatically generated pseudonym.
Profile data you choose to add. Role, region, company size, years of experience, work email domain used for verification, and your anonymity preference.
Contributions. Reviews, benchmark submissions, questions, answers, comments, notes, likes and reports, together with their timestamps and moderation status.
Technical data. IP address, browser and device type, pages requested and referring URL, recorded in standard server logs and in aggregate analytics.
We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and we do not collect special categories of personal data (health, religion, biometrics and similar).
03
How we use it
To operate your account and authenticate you; to publish contributions you submit; to moderate content before publication so the platform is not used for defamation or spam; to verify employment through a work email domain; to determine eligibility for the first-100-per-country lifetime access offer; to send transactional email such as confirmation and password reset; and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the product.
We do not sell personal data. We do not share your identity with vendors, and vendor relationships never give anyone access to practitioner accounts.
04
Legal basis and PDPA (Singapore)
Adkeen is operated from Singapore and handles personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). We collect, use and disclose personal data only for purposes a reasonable person would consider appropriate in the circumstances, and which we have made known to you here. Where you create an account, you consent to that collection and use; you may withdraw consent at any time by closing your account.
Where the GDPR applies to a visitor in the EU/UK, our legal bases are performance of a contract (operating your account), legitimate interests (platform integrity, moderation, aggregate analytics) and consent (non-essential cookies, marketing email).
05
Anonymity and public content
Contributions can be published under your display name or under a stable pseudonym. When you publish anonymously, other users see only the pseudonym; administrators can still see the underlying account, because unattributable content cannot be moderated. Anything you publish — including the text of a review or answer — is public and may be indexed by search engines. Do not include confidential client data, rate cards under NDA, or personal data about other people in a contribution.
06
Cookies and analytics
Strictly necessary. A session cookie and local storage entry set by our authentication provider keep you signed in. These cannot be disabled without breaking sign-in.
Analytics. We use privacy-oriented, aggregate analytics to count page views and understand which sections are used. We do not run third-party advertising cookies, retargeting pixels or cross-site trackers on this site.
Third-party content. Market data shown in the ticker is fetched by our own server, not by your browser, so market data providers do not receive your IP address.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will sign you out.
07
Processors and international transfer
We use a small number of vendors to run the service: a managed database and authentication provider, a hosting and content-delivery provider, an email delivery provider, and a market data source. These providers process data on our instructions only. Some are located outside Singapore, so your data may be transferred and stored abroad; we rely on contractual protections comparable to the PDPA transfer limitation obligation.
08
Retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Published contributions are retained indefinitely as part of the public record, since removing an accepted answer or a benchmark data point would damage the integrity of the evidence — on request we will unlink your name and leave the content under a pseudonym. Server logs are kept for up to 90 days. Rejected submissions and their moderation notes are kept for 12 months.
09
Your rights
You may ask us to: confirm what personal data we hold and give you a copy; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and associated personal data; withdraw consent; or restrict or object to a particular use. Write to adkeenspace@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in Singapore and are not satisfied, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission.
10
Security and changes
Access to production data is restricted, traffic is encrypted in transit, and passwords are never stored in readable form. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required.
We will post any change to this policy on this page and update the date above. Material changes will be announced to account holders by email.
