How long before a "trader" role is actually a "strategist" role with no title or pay change

Job started as pure execution, now I'm building the media plan, presenting to the client, and managing a junior, still have the same title and comp as when I started. Is this a normal progression that eventually catches up, or do I need to push for the title change myself?
