Meta CAPI match rate dropped from 80% to 40% overnight, no idea why

Nothing changed on our side that I know of, no new pixel, no GTM changes, no consent banner update. Match quality just fell off a cliff three days ago and hasn't recovered. Events Manager isn't showing any errors. Has anyone had this happen without a code change on their end? What actually causes a silent drop like this?
