Affiliate network is showing conversions we can't match in our own data, gap is bigger than I'd expect

Network dashboard shows meaningfully more conversions than what we can trace in our own order data for the same period. Not a small rounding difference, a real gap. Cookie duration and attribution window both check out on paper. Where do people usually find the actual discrepancy in cases like this?
